The Laughter Begins Recovery Comedy Night is an evening of humor and awareness dedicated to supporting those experiencing the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder while serving and protecting others. Join us for an unforgettable night of laughter featuring the incredible talents of Big Daddy Tazz and local Saskatchewan comedian Shawn Cuthand.

Often hailed as “one of the most talented comics in the business,” Big Daddy Tazz has been entertaining audiences at fundraisers, corporate events, festivals, and on television for over 30 years. Known as the “Bi-Polar Buddha,” Tazz seamlessly blends comedy with mental health advocacy, aiming to enlighten, educate, and inspire. His one-man shows have earned glowing reviews and standing ovations across the country.

Shawn Cuthand, a Cree and Mohawk artist from Saskatoon, SK, grew up immersed in the world of filmmaking, thanks to his father, Doug Cuthand, who runs Blue Hill Productions. Shawn is a gifted storyteller who uses stand-up comedy and experimental Super 8 films to share his unique perspective. He co-produced The Feather, a Sask Arts Board-funded series, alongside his comedy partners Ryan Moccasin and Danny Knight.
